Today was a special day, we celebrated my Grandma’s 79th birthday (shhh…don’t tell that I told). It was such a a treat to get to spend the afternoon with her and her closest friends. The funniest thing is they were ALL Alpha Gams at Auburn together back in the day. They are all the sweetest ladies, full of life with LOTS of funny stories to share. We lit the candles, ate a “girlie” chicken salad lunch, sang Happy Birthday, and celebrated! I could of sat around all afternoon amongst their company. There is just nothing like your girlfriends, even when you are almost in your eighties!
