We are starting anew yet again. Can you believe it’s already 2010? I was reflecting on this past year, and the grace of our Lord came to mind. Grace. How do you really define such an eloquent word – grace? 

grace |grās|noun1 (in Christian belief) the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.• a divinely given talent or blessing : the graces of the Holy Spirit.• the condition or fact of being favored by someone 

We’re surely favored by our Lord. He gives us chances over and over again to start anew. We sin, and He forgives. We get another chance. and the malicious cycle continues…,but we have a merciful God. On a broader level we encounter new millenniums in history books anyway, new centuries, and new decades. But on a more comprehensible level, new years and new months. Although, it does not stop there, we are given a new chance every 7 days [new weeks], every 24 hours [new days], every 12 hours when darkness lifts [a new day], every 60 minutes [a new hour], every 60 seconds [a new minute], and on, and on, and on…WOW! We are even given a chance for a new life through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
