Just to get it out there, I want to express my deep love for “all things quatrefoil“. There I said it! It would be an understatement to say “I merely like this four-lobed shape”. I do not know what it is about it…maybe it is the symmetry of the shape that I like. I am drawn to balance. Though I might add I’m really liking the asymmetrical trends in fashion that are surfacing for spring! So, maybe it’s the simplicity of the complex decorative framework. I know those two words contradict eachother, but think about it! It really is geometry at its finest! Now for the pretty stuff:

In my homeland of Canada, Girl Scouts are called Girl Guides…and they sell a delicious Quatrefoil cookie during their annual cookie drive.
