A store the lovely ladies at work introduced me to in our studio neighborhood of Chelsea, Madeleine Patisserie. They raved about how yummy the little macaroons were from here. Then later that afternoon the girls in the office shared these in celebration of a birthday last week. [note: I still have never been there in person] They are delicious, and presented with a special touch of tasteful beauty! Later that afternoon I was out running a few office errands, I by passed the storefront, completely unaware that I was remotely close. And friends, I kid you not I did a complete heel-turning 360. The delicious smell stop me dead in tracks. Yeap, smell is a pretty strong sense, and my senses were on que…that was the place. So if anything else, and you happen to be in the neighborhood, I leave you with directions. It’s HOT here in NYC. This weather sweet-n-tasty reminder of home, yes the heat + humidity, it might be better with ice cream in hand. Although, cooler days are approaching.
