I got this in the mail last October for my birthday, but forgot to share. Just this week my Mom got one too. Isn’t this just the most creative birthday surprise ever…

i LOVE invites

Give me a reason to design an invite, and I am ecstatic. As a matter of fact, I might even be known to make up a reason to design invites. This past weekend I worked on one for my dear aunt who lives in Arizona.

the occasion: a rendezvous of 5 ladies who flew together with American Airlines for years

what: their yearly weekend “FAB5″ getaway

where: tucson, az (last year: dallas, tx)

the invite: printed on a 5″x5″ white linen paper (80# cover) + rounded corners achieved with this tool

the delivery: stuffed with love into 5-3/4″ square envelopes from here, and mailed with a girlie pink hat + resort brochure

How super fun is this invite set by Anna Bond, an illustrator and paper goods designer out of Florida. I fond her via design*sponge. I am intrigued by the character of this set in particular. It is full of fun little details, I especially love the map!

On Friday I recieved my recent etsy purchase in the mail. My anticipation of receiving a package is somewhat (I mean VERY) childlike! I get so excited, sometimes even have an urge to launch a HUG at Mr. UPS delivery man! He just does not know how much he makes my day! This time, tucked away in a cute little black, oval-flap envelope box…personalized contact cards just for me!

They are printed on a white linen paper (linen=my favorite!)
