Hi Sweet Readers! Just wanted to drop in to wish you a sun-shiny & fun-filled weekend! I am off to the Hamptons this weekend for a little R&R. I am counting down the hours until we hop in the car and zoom out of the city. Getting in a car, that is not yellow, is a rare thing here in NYC. This concrete is really getting to me. I will take lots of posts, and be back next week with a recap. Plus, I have some pictures to share with you from my adventure last night. I hit the floor of the New York Stock Exchange last night for a benefit. It was a unique New York experience!
Enough about me, what are your plans for the weekend? Anything exciting! Please do tell…

1. bakers twine
2. felt flowers
and the sparkles!
This is such an inspiring video featuring ballerina Misty Copeland. I feel ballet – when I am watching a ballerina dance – truly is living, moving, breathing art.
Wow, she is talented!
Every little girl dreams of the day that they get fitted for their first pair of point shoes. Or at least I did. We notice the little girls are completely smitten by the older ballerinas at the studio who gracefully waltz around them. They’re longing for the day they can be “big girls” too. Well check this out…the little girls do not even have to wait. They can have their very own pair or pain-free pointe shoes starting as an infant. I am thinking perhaps…the little girls in our wedding will twirl down the aisle in these little slippers. Are these not the most precious little ballerina slippers with ribbon that laces up the ankle? Adorable!
