It is indeed true, my wedding day was magical. I wish they I could relive November 5th over and over and over again. It truly is such a treasure to have all the photos and fabulous wedding day video, so perfectly documented by Dan and Anne Almasy, of Atlanta.

I found my dress in New York City last summer. My mom and sister came up, and we hit the town with a mission. Lucky us, scored a winner with the second dress I tried on.

This picture is kind of contradictory of our wedding theme, as it is “Christmasy” looking, and our wedding was completely fall inspired. But when your Dad owns a greenhouse operation, and there are acres of poinsettias it just seems fitting to recreate your three year old Christmas card with your soon to be husband!

We took lots of pictures, so I will just highlight a few special details. My bouquet was super special to me. If you look close, you will see a gold locket. It was my precious, beautiful, lovely, perfect Grandma who passed away just over a year ago from cancer. She was a rockstar grandma, and I would of given anything to of really had her there, but instead she got to be the closest to me – and was of course in my heart!

All my girls…enough said, they were AWESOME!

And my favorite part. The fountain at the museum, where our reception was help. The pond was surrounded by tea lights and get this, TWELVE-HUNDRED white cyclamen!!! It really was a fairy-tale…

The cake. And Mom and I had a fun idea of how to incorporate “fall” into a wedding in November without it really screaming “fall”. So we went with 12 boxes of little, white pumpkins filling the clear glass vases. Simple and elegant.

The band. They were fabulous, and we cannot thank them enough for giving life to a wonderful reception celebration. If you want an awesome band, check out Andrew Thielen and The Band, they won’t disappoint.

Happy Wedding Day! Hard to believe that tomorrow marks out 3 month anniversary. We have a long life together ahead of us, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for us. While on the topic, shout out to my parents, their 26 year anniversary is almost here – also the same date that Stan and I met five years ago. xoxo readers!
Hi Folks, so…the wedding day is rapidly approaching. Whoa, where has the time gone? The final plans are in the works, and things are coming together smoothly. Invites went out yesterday, and we are in “productive mode” for the next one and half months. As for now, we have an upcoming meeting with the cater. Perhaps we should explore serving gourmet “works of art”, after all the reception is at a museum. Seems appropriate, right? Check out these tasty treats for yourself:

Good Morning to you sweet readers (this was actually Good Evening to me last night)…on the roof top of my building which is what I consider my “backyard” in NYC. It is just about the only semi-private outdoor space that I can claim my own. There is nothing like spending late night evening up here with friends, or enjoying my morning coffee as the sun rises over the East River.
This is my escape…a way to catch a quick breath of fresh air after the stuffing and sealing of our Save the Dates…this project is ALMOST at a closure, and for that we have yet another thing checked of the never ending wedding planning list. Cheer with me please!!!
And just for a teaser, I leave you with this.
